Nubuk is a type of leather with a soft, velvety surface and is some of the most expensive leather. Nubuk and suede look and feel similar. It differs in that suede is created from the inner side of a hide, whereas Nubuk leather is created from the outer side of a hide, giving it more strength and thickness along with a fine grain.
